Foggy sunrise.
« on: October 08, 2019, 02:19:10 pm »

Went to the nearby lake at sunrise for some sunrise pictures. Did not have much hope when I left the house as the sky was bald and barren but I went anyway. When I got there the lake was covered with a mist fog. I found plenty to photograph and I am glad I went. I found this nugget and I am only about 10% though the set. A really good morning.

As and aside. I got my batteries mixed up and was using a 3 party battery. The camera was acting really weird, spontaneously shutting down and other anomalies. I noticed the bad battery when I got home and was charging it. I pitched it and breathed a sigh of relief as it was only the batter and not major camera problems.

Added: last shot of the morning. HDR of course, 5-1. Lightroom. If the full sun is in the picture I have found to expose at least one stop under the camera meter. There are more that I have not had time to get to.

I think I'm a fog'a'holic. So good. I'm generally in love with fog.
