Canon Pro 100 Problem

Have a Pro 100 which I use for note cards only, for over 2 years.  I use the recommend Precision Color Carts. The Lt. Cyan started giving me troubles a week ago. It won't stay clean and even goes out completely sometimes. I run cleanups and it gets clean enough to get by, but after 4or5 cards, it goes completely white on print out.  More cleaning gets it back but soon it's showing broken lines or white completely.  Tried my other cyan cart and it is no different. I assume that the Cyan is toast and can't be fixed (can the contacts be cleaned (alcohol-water)?

I am assuming there is no hope for this printer now so, I will have to go back to B&H for new one.  What happened to the discounts??

The question is, has Pro 100 been upgraded so I can't continue using the the same cart system?  Are there better discounts somewhere?

You mean the ones Precision Colors describes (at https://www.precisioncolors.com/PC42cart.html) as "AFTERMARKET COMPATIBLES WITH CHIPS, Not the best choice"? AFAIK, pretty much everyone says it's far better to refill / reset genuine Canon cartridges instead of using third-party ones. If I had to bet, the aftermarket cartridges are the source of your problem. Whether they have ruined your printer or just caused you a temporary setback remains to be seen.

Try an actual, new Canon CLI-42 loaded at the factor with Canon ChromaLife 100+ ink, and see how that does, maybe after a self-clearning or two if needed.

What happened to the discounts??

Although it appeared that the discounts had briefly disappeared, as of now, B&H has the Pro-100 with the 50 sheets of 13x19 paper for $129.06 net of rebate:
