In Dan Wells's article "Want of Lenses..." he bemoans the lack of quality lenses for APS-C cameras.
He manages to mention Sony, Canon, Nikon and, of course, Fujifilm but seems be unaware that
Pentax exists, let alone that they have a large selection of quality glass for their APS-C
system and have been, expanding it for 15 years. Here's the current Pentax lens roadmap:
https://pentaxrumors.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Pentax-K-Mount-lens-roadmap-January-20192.png There are about 30 DA lenses for their APS-C bodies, as well as their excellent, 'full-frame' FA and D FA optics.
I've used many of them and there are only a couple that should be avoided by a serious shooter.
The latest addition to the Pentax DA series is a high quality 11-18mm super wide.
I invite Mr. Wells to acquaint himself with the Pentax line of APS-C bodies and glass
and then update his article.
