I have a box of paper that was on my shelf for many years, as it is very slow process to print on sheets on Z printers.
Finally I found the way to do it. With help od Scotch magic tape I create "Z" fold paper strip and load it as a roll. All 50 papers went through printer without any problem
You just need to create page of the exact size of sheet, so that printer do not print over the tape.
For Z's use "Z" fold
