I don't have any of the new TS-E lenses Canon released in the past two years or so but the older TS-E lenses work just fine on the EOS R with the adapter, including shift.

For myself -
I have 17TS " glued" to  5Ds

The larger pixel count  make it possible to effectivly crop
the image down  to 24 mm view  ...

( i found  my older 24 TS less sharp then 17 TS )
Of course 17 TS is extremely flare prone .

So with 50 Mpixel  5DS  is doing the job of both 17 ( most of the time too wide )
and 24 ...
( doing some hotel work with it  meaning I cannot make anything without 17 ...)

Only 'huge' for the tiny number of people using shift lenses.
The list of supported lenses is pretty clear on Canon's site.

Please provide the link to this statement. I can't find it and they even plug the capability of the drop in filter adapter with the TS-E 17 (and EF 11-24 f4)  lens.

I have the EOS R, and regularly use the 24mm, 50mm and 90mm TS-E lenses on the camera with no issues. In fact the focus guide on the EOS R makes them a pleasure to use, especially when using the tilt function. I’m loving the R, and am very much looking forward to the high pixel version when it comes out.

Slightly off topic, but...
If one were shooting with an older 7D, but enjoying the crop sensor (as a birder wanting the longer effective lens length), would anyone venture a guess if the 5DIV (after cropping) would be better than the 7D2? I think probably yes, nod to the newer sensor, just wondering if anyone had any insights. Thanks.
