Rob, Where I live, we have an antique auto club.  Every year we invite outside people to bring their antiques and then we have a contest where they're rated.  Not just GM but all kinds of great cars.  Here's the link for pictures taken at the show a few years ago.

My friend Mike has a 1947 or '48 Black Chevy that we go to breakfast Friday mornings at the diner with a bunch of other guys.  We jam 5 or 6 guys into the car.  Having bench seats we can fit three in the front.  The back of the front seat has a thick rope to hold onto.  A/C is rolling down the windows.  Lots of fun.  Here's a picture.  He's willing to sell it to you for US$13,000.  I wouldn't give him a dime (quid?), but that's just me.  :  Don;t tell him what I said. :)
