Photographic safari

I'm thinking of taking a trip to Namibia. Some of it would be with my family, but I'd like to spend a a few days at least taking part in a photography-based safari. A quick search reveals a few offers. Does anyone have experience of such a tour?

A friend of mine, Mark Alberhasky, has led a few tours of Namibia with the Nikon Mentor Series and Photozone Tours. I know he is returning again the end of October. I'm not saying you need to necessarily go with him, but I am sure he'd give good advice. Freeman Patterson goes to Namibia every Fall. Let me know if you want contact info.
