Francis Wolff and Blue Note Jazz
« on: August 07, 2019, 11:31:16 am »

Those of you who are jazz fans are likely well acquainted with Blue Note records.  Many seminal sessions were recorded by the jazz label and the albums were renown for the wonderful album cover pictures captured by Francis Wolff.  The owners of Mosaic Records were able to get all of the negatives that Wolff shot over a 30 year period and have now put them up on their website.  They are also licensing images and one can also purchase select images if interested.  The story of Francis Wolff is HERE and you can navigate to the image library from there.  Enjoy.

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing. I love the music, images, and really the whole jazz scene from that time period.
