Color vs B&W
« on: August 05, 2019, 10:00:50 am »

When shot I saw the photo in color. At postprocessing time I decided to go for B&W but I wasn't sure the tent is that obvious (that can be recognized as a tent, if not printed big) so I decided to work a color version also, a slightly different mood though.
Now I'm not sure. Thoughts?

I prefer color here. But I don't know what the subject is supposed to be. What were you thinking about when you took this photo, and what are you trying to convey to the viewer?

The subject is supposed to be the lonely tent in the not so friendly looking environment, solitude vs danger. I reckon it has to be bigger than what I posted to figure it out what's going on.

The B&W looks a bit more ominous, but the color has a bit more detail, and I prefer the color version.

I'd go with the color version!
