Thanks for your updates to the Luminous Landscape site. The new format is easier to navigate and much more visually appealing.

The newly renovated "Vodcasts" section of the LL site clearly demonstrates the excellent delivery mechanism provided by today's Internet. I'd welcome the opportunity to view individual segments from video journals past and future and pay for them on a per topic basis. In addition, I prefer viewing this content on my computer screen in the "darkroom" rather than on my TV screen in the living room.

This possibility was discussed a few months ago and Michael mentioned that it was under study. Any conclusions? Plans?

Michael,

Of course, now that my place is finally equipped with a richeous HDTV, the emergence of HD LLVJ (on what - HDDVD or Blu-Ray?) would influence me to move once these machines past the early adopter pricing.

Perhaps the mail shipment acros the border would be faster with HD media? (Sorry, I couldn't resist )

What's the current thinking on HD LLVJ. It's been a while since you folks have discussed that.

The launch of Blue Ray / HD DVD is a disaster. Market penetration is tiny, and not growing anywhere near as fast as it should, due of course to the format war.

We have all our footage from the past 18 months in HD but are just waiting for things to evolve.
