« on: July 31, 2019, 09:39:09 pm »

Much of Yellowstone's Algae is actually bacteria.  Thanks to this thermophile bacteria major advances have been made in biotechnology.  Thanks to Yellowstone's heat-loving bacteria we now have the technology of Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which is a method widely used in molecular biology to make many copies of a specific DNA segment.  Thanks to PCR biologist have made huge advancing in evolutionary biology.
