Yeah, I can still manually feed it through the art feeder — but not having the rollers in the sheet feeder pick it up has really slowed my production down.
The matte paper from Red River is very similar in thickness to the Enhanced Matte — and I've found in most cases I can sub it real easy. I print a lot of 11x14, so using that paper saves me from trimming.
It is so weird, because it's a paper I've been running through the printer for years and thousands of prints with no problem, and now both printers just refused to grab it. I even had a third spare P800 that I bought refurbed and it won't take it either.
I was looking at even getting a P5000 — but from what I can tell, the paper is gonna be stuck in that too.
I could switch to rolls, I just never like the extra curve in the paper that I get, since it makes it slightly harder to sleeve (we put all our prints in a poly clear bag with a chipboard backing).
