omg, I knew it! Whatever Rob has, it must be a virus. And quite apparently it's spreading.

Still, I actually like the shot, although I'm going to have to say it: I would prefer b&w for this one, because it would remove the hints of lights and color on the inside. In b&w it will be less distracting and thereby more about the entire reflection, the graphics and composition. It gets a greater sense of movement in b&w. (That said: it isn't an easy conversion to b&w).

Take all that as an entirely personal irrelevant opinion, ymmv opinion-wise. It merely shows my appreciation of the shot.

Thanks for the thoughtful opinion, Oscar. I nearly converted it to B&W, but as you say, it loses its sense of movement in B&W. I shot this one twelve years ago in Colorado Springs. I’m still pulling up stuff from my catalog. Unless it cools down enough here in Florida to let me walk the streets again, I’m liable to run out of postable shots before terribly long.

Mystical mysterious; the Invisible Man caught in the mirror!

Love this sort of thing because mostly you can't plan it - you have to keep your eyes open.

As some of my heroines have said, you must go out there and appreciate the presents when they come to you.

I share your problem with heat; on top of that there's the added one of having to avoid direct sunlight. I've been spending too much time housebound this year, but global warming has made it worse than it was in the past. I can measure it's severity by the time I spend online. The more I'm online the less I'm out and wandering about. It all adds to the pressures of trying to maintain enthusiasm about anything at all.

C'est la vie. But good shot!

The emphasized phrase describes street photography in a beautiful nutshell, Rob.

Yeah. I'll pray for cool along with you. Right now my outside thermometer says 94 degrees Fahrenheit and 47% humidity. That's a hell of a lot of water in the air. My online weather channel says it's 94 and feels like 104. Having stepped outside, I'd say that's a conservative estimate of what it feels like.

I remember leaving Colorado Springs in a snowstorm and getting off the airplane in Udon Thani, Thailand a couple days later in 107 degrees and tropical humidity. But I was a lot younger then.
