That is very, very unlikely. Other programs should suffer from this as well. The mouse will be completely controlled by the Operating System and its mouse driver. Possible causes:
• Is there another pointing device (Wacom tablet, touch screen, …) installed as well?
• Is it an optical mouse and if so could the problems be related to the surface (structure) below the mouse ?
• In case of weird behavior check if t’s a corrupt mouse driver (re-install) of the hardware of the mouse itself (replace).
