Democratization of Street
« on: July 01, 2019, 06:38:18 pm »

All it takes, as always, is to look and have some sort of a camera. With smartphones these days, one condition is already fulfilled. A keen interest in the human condition certainly helps too.

What I am talking about? I have a friend, a doctor in New York, who, a couple of years ago, asked me to recommend her a camera. I suggested a Canon Rebel in white body (goes well with her doctor's coat ;) ), but told her that for her needs and interests, a smartphone would be good enough. Fast forward, and with the smartphone camera advances, that is all she uses now. Today I noticed her latest post on Instagram and thought it would qualify for a good street photograph. I am posting it here, with her permission, of course.

Her name is Dr. Tamta Chkhikvadze and she posts on Instagram as @nolita.tam.
