can the phase one XF body be used with lens adapters that work on older phase one bodies?

Probably better if you ask about a specific adapter. But the general answer is “yes” if the adapter was made for the AF, AFD, AFD2, AFD3, DF, or DF+. For example the 500 series adapter to use a Hassy 500 lens works with any of those bodies, and with the XF.

I’m not really into vintage stuff, but be aware of that the xf has a second row of pins, and that blocks some older mount lenses to mount without modification (fx 80/1.9 or (in my case) 500/5.6). The df+ had a single row of pins, so this is new to the xf.

I'm looking for years a P645 to M645 adapter. According to my knowledge, there is no such adapter.

Could you please send me a link to this adapter?
