Canon Print Studio not compatible with PS CC 2019?

I read an old thread on this topic but am not able to follow instructions others provided.  One suggestion was to simply copy the plugin folder from CC 2018 but I never installed CPS in CC 2018. Another suggested using the Print Studio Plugin Install under Canon Utilities in the Start menu.  But that suggestion requires selecting the target application from the list on the screen. But PS CC 2019 is NOT on the list (see screen grab attachment).  FWIW, the install executable I downloaded and used is psp_-win-2_2_3-ea10_3.exe , just in case those who were successful were actually using a different install.  I attached screen grabs for the two install screens, showing that CC 2019 is not one of the blessed applications.  Others seem to be able to do this.  What am I doing wrong?

It works for me. PSP 2.2.3 and PS CC 2019 on Win 10. The plugin is installed in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Plug-ins

You can also try the new Canon Professional Print and Layout application which comes as a plugin and as a standalone application.

Found a workaround, if not the cause of this irritating nonsense.  The install of PSP does create the necessary files. They are CNPSPP01.8li and CNPSPP02.8bf and there are two versions of them, one for 32 bit systems and the other for 64 bit. The locations are  C:/Program Files/Canon/Print Studio Pro and C:/Program Files/Canon/Print Studio Pro/x64.  So you have to create a folder in C:/ Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019/Plug-ins called PSP and copy those two files to that folder.  Boot up PS and lo and behold there it is in Automate where it is supposed to be.  No one has been able to tell me why some of us have to go through this rigamarole while others don't, but that is the way it is.  I am not the only one.
