The upper picture was taken by my second (actually first "real") digital camera FujiFilm FinePix 602S Zoom. (I could hear some chuckle when I said "real". Ok.)
Today - 12 years later - I took my "spy" camera (Nikon CoolPix S01) - which is about the same quality - and tried to reshoot the place.
While in the same hour of the day, no luck with the light. Maybe will try to reshoot again with the afternoon sun and replace the picture.
No aesthetic or technical qualities included - just a documentary to compare the place in time. I definitely prefer the romantic look of the overgrown station with old trains (not used any more) over how it looks today. On the other hand, the litter on the ground was worse than it is today. The tracks were replaced some 3 years ago.
