A friend called Noelle may prove more interesting!

I knew a Noella here, and asked her to model and she initially agreed. Then she chickened out. I used to bump into her - not literally, I promise - quite a lot because she worked in an office I often had cause to visit. I hear she's now a Mummy. Maybe it was for the best; I should never forget my own advice concerning pro/am complications and disappointments. I think I have developed absolute immunity now.

Pretty. Enjoy Miami while it's still above water.

A friend called Noelle may prove more interesting!..

Albeit more distracting ;)

Even with this male friend I was keeping a safe distance, artistically speaking, of course. As I mentioned several times before, I consider photography to be a solitary endeavor. Having a shooting pal is meant for personal safety.  Especially in a port part of a city, very early in the morning, arriving when it is still night.

... Enjoy Miami while it's still above water.

A quote from a recent Business Insider article about why rich New Yorkers are moving to Miami (emphasis mine):

Quote
"My clients are not making their home-purchasing decision on what may or may not be 100+ years out," Dina Goldentayer, the executive director of sales at Douglas Elliman in Miami Beach, previously told me. "They want to enjoy their wealth now with their families in their homes."
