Sunrise at Reynisfjara, Iceland
« on: June 07, 2019, 12:56:53 pm »

Sunrise at Reynisfjara Beach, in Iceland. Despite the crowds, if you know when and where to go you can still have the place all for yourself, which is really exciting :) Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

I was there a few years ago but did not have the wits to go at sunrise. Those rocks, the Reynisdrangar, are in Icelandic legend the remains of a few trolls who were caught by the sun, and turned to stone, as they were coming to shore.

@Vieri: Your landscape pictures are perfect. Maybe too perfect.
They're like world class top models - while different, all with beautiful eyes, delicate noses, full lips, spotless complexion and gorgeous bodies - thanks to their dedicated lifestyle.
When you first meet one, your knees start to tremble. After seeing tens of them it sometimes makes you want to look at a normal pretty girl though.

But take this my opinion as a compliment. 8)

Beautiful sunrise, I can feel the damp air from the sea on my face. Colors are great with this black/orange combination.
Well done.

Thank you for your comment biker, I don't think there is such thing as perfection, nor am I aiming for that - either when I work or when I post-process. I am just trying to express my vision of place and a moment in time, and to pass my emotions to the viewers (i.e. Francois comment below tells me I succeeded with this photo, at least with him). But, I'll definitely take your comment as a compliment :)
