« on: June 06, 2019, 11:01:44 am »

I wanted to check out this set of old video tutorials, but not able to quite get anywhere with any of the links.  It is never too late to learn the basics....

Please help.

Thanks!

Just go directly to the Video Section.  The 2 part Videos are all there.

I think they are the newer videos called Back to the Print which I have seen.  Ones I am talking about are a part of a much longer set of 24 videos called From Camera to Print.  A lot of it is probably outdated like use of early versions of Photoshop etc.  However, I am really interested in this early part of evolution of digital printing that I was not exposed to, to get a sort of an historical perspective as well as fill a few (or many) holes in my knowledge base.  Hopefully they are not lost, which would be a shame.

I’ll look into why they may not be showing up for you.

Josh, I think what Niranjan is asking for, is why the Camera to Print (C2P) videos are no longer available, with the short answer being that when your dad and Jeff updated this original set of videos with the Camera to print and Screen versions (C2PS), they took down the original verions as they decided they had become obsolete, which I never really understood as they were still full of valuable information.

So even though they have been superceded, it would still be nice to view them again and any other videos that have been retired or even those that remain incomplete or unedited, as I am sure they are still going to be good and still worth watching in my opinion.

all the best  ;)

Thanks Dave,

We can look into restoring the originals if they are present on our system. Unedited/or unfinished pieces may prove more time consuming.

I’ll check out to see if the videos mentioned are quickly retrievable.

Appreciate the clarification.
