Vindicator Headstand and Processing Plant
« on: June 05, 2019, 08:33:06 am »

The ruins of the Vindicator goldmine are located in what’s now called Vindicator Valley, just outside Goldfield, Colorado, which is very close to Victor, Colorado, which in turn isn’t far from Cripple Creek. The Vindicator mine was established in 1895. After WW II it went through a closing, a reopening, and a final closing in 1958. I shot this picture in 2007 on one of my regular shooting visits to the goldfields.
