DNG Profile Editor
« on: May 30, 2019, 05:49:18 am »

I like to make my own camera profiles and wanted to download the Profile Editor. Searches on the Adobe website turned up nothing. I got onto the chat help and spent a few fruitless minutes with the dumbest Boston the Internet before it bailed on me and handed me over to an actual person only marginally brighter but just as unhelpful who then decided my question was technical and handed me to a technical help person. By this time I had copied my question to the clipboard so I could just keep pasting it into the window every time I was asked what my problem was. The technical person gave me a link and I thought I was finally sorted but the link took me to a download for the DNG converter not the editor. Back to the technical person when then told me the download was not available.

I then went to google and it t gave me a link to a blog explaining the ins and outs of the editor and that included a link for the download.

Did it have to be that hard?

Obviously no. You could have googled first...    ;-)

That is true of course. But unexpected to me. I thought it would be easy to find. When I couldn’t find it I did a search on the site. Even google couldn’t find a direct link. Only one on a blog.

Perhaps you could provide us the link to the editor?

Here is the link to the Adobe DNG page, which includes access to the Profile Editor, the Lens Profile Creator and Downloader, the SDK, etc.

Thanks. I should have come here first I think. Funny that Adobe can’t seem to find it.
