Holographic Prints
« on: May 29, 2019, 03:31:03 am »

Hey everyone!

I hope this post is in the right place.

I'm trying to figure out if "holographic prints" are something an Epson p7000 can print, but I'm finding conflicting information on it.

Is this something I can do on this machine? What kind of paper would I use? I won't use anything other than epson inks in my printers, so I'm not sure if that matters either.

Thanks for any kind of help, Google isn't helping at all.

Cheers!

Hi Justin,

To make sure we're talking about the same thing, could you give an example of what you call "holographic prints"?

It could be that you have 'Lenticular' printing technology in mind, which the Epson printers can do very well due to their ability (with the right settings) to print at 720 PPI resolution.

Cheers,
Bart

Hey Bart,

Thanks for the reply.

Honestly, I have no idea, I was hoping you could tell me! All I know is they were asking for "holographic prints" and I had never heard of that before. I will inquire more as to.exactly what they want, maybe then I can figure it out and get back to you.

Thanks again!

This link, from Google, might give you an idea of what they want:
