I have a Mamiya 24mm fisheye with the oddest problem. It focuses fine at f/4, but goes out of focus as one closes down the aperture. Once closed down, no amount of focusing will bring the image into sharp focus. I have a second example of this lens that doesn't suffer from this at all - so it doesn't seem to be anything I'm doing.
Has anyone had a similar problem with any lens? Any suggestion what might be done to fix the problem?
