C1 support for upcoming FUJI-GFX100

Hi folks,
I have put my name down on the waitinglist for the coming GFX100.
having used C1 with my Pentax 645Z and now with a GFX50R, I was wondering if they'd support the new camera. As expected, when I asked support, they declined to comment on anything new coming up. Now I've let the price reductions on the newest version pass me by, but I'm still wondering...
What do you guys think ?

Third party RAW processing software providers normally have to await for a new Camera model to be available in the market for them to be able begin the process of producing and testing profiles for rendering the raw files. This process can take several weeks to complete.

Given Fuji's partnership with Phase One, I would hope for support to be available as soon, or very soon after, the camera is released.

When the Fuji Xt30 was released C1 provided support quicker than they had ever provided support for a new camera before (https://www.thephoblographer.com/2019/02/20/updated-gallery-fujifilm-x-t30-raw-image-edits/#more-134592). Indeed from that post, C1 supported it while it was still only pre production cameras available.

You could try asking Fuji, as I would suspect they will be expecting rapid support from C1 for this new camera, and they might be more forth coming than the standard Phase One response to any questions about time tables.

Hi Stephan,

One of the major Dutch dealers is selling a EUR 100 "PreOrder" benefit to early delivery of that Fuji model. It also states in the model specifications a "Capture One RAW-software (future update)". Should that not materialize, then they'd have a major issue! I have no idea if they have advanced knowledge, but it might just be based on the Capture One policy of not supporting competing "Medium Format" camera's, except for Fujifilm ones ...

Anyway, why not wait? The GFX100 apparently hits the streets on June 27th, 2019, so we'll know soon enough.

Yes, we are already capturing tethered here.

Official release soon, at least before the camera ships.
