"Anguish" might well have been a better title. I shot this one with a Nikon D100, degrub. I had a 24-200mm lens on the camera, and it's a B&W conversion. This is a case where graphics are everything.

I prefer the title "Pause."
To my mind, "Anguish" gives too much away, doesn't let the viewer find it on his/her own.

Fine catch.

A lot of "street" photography doesn't resonate with me, but Pause and Question do. Well done.

Thanks, Arlen. Maybe the reason a lot of street doesn't resonate is that a lot of what's posted as street isn't street. Unless the picture has emotional content it's not really street as it originally was defined by example by people like HCB. Part of the problem is that "street photography" is a tragically misleading name for the genre, and part of the problem is that the people posting what they think is street never have taken the trouble to study the great street photographers and learn what actually defines the genre.
