I wouldn't enjoy playing croquet on ANY lawn, Jeremy, but this picture had a slightly ominous feel to me.
It's a wonderful game, Russ. Strategy, tactics and skill combine with excellent opportunities for malevolence. Add fresh air and Pimms - what more could you want? There are photographs of me playing croquet on the lawns in front of one of my college's more photogenic buildings, in ancient photo albums all over the world.Jeremy

I assume that you play croquet with flamingos, not alligators. I've read about that in a book about some "Alice" onceIsn't that a game for ladies?
