Bubble bubble toil and trouble

I went to the nearby creek recently for what looked like might be a spectacular sunset. The sunset didn't deliver but I did find this nice eddy with a favorite seasonal subject for me, swirling bubbles. This is where the creek is already getting high on its banks and will probably flood in the coming weeks.
With heavy clouds and subdued color, some monochrome conversions seemed appropriate.

The second and third are nicely done.

You have the most fascinating dancing waters, Matt.

Thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds them fascinating.

Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
When I was very young we had "Double Bubble" Chewing Gum
With original eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Ah those witches...
Nice pictures.

#2 is my favorite. If it were mine I might desaturate the clouds slightly.
