Gone With The Wind
. This street sculpture in
Reykjavík
was blown away yesterday in a severe windstorm.

The sculpture looks like it's very light and floating in the air… So, no wonder that it was blown away.

Actually, it looks as if the sculptor was lighter than air. Maybe somebody decided it'd be better if the thing blew away and detached it.

It looks to me as if it is just asking to be blown away in a strong wind.
And while Iceland may not have tornadoes, it certainly has stiff breezes most of the time.

Maybe it should have had a base to permit it to pivot in the wind, like a weathervane.
