The tonalities work well in all three in B&W, but now that you brought up the question, I'm curious to see the color versions for comparison.

I like your photography, Armand, usually very much.
That said, I prefer to know if an image is (among other things) going to be monochromatic or else before releasing the shutter.
The so-called pre-visualization I guess (I've read about that  ;) ).
Don't get me wrong, I myself am no master in that either.

Thanks. I wanted to see if they stand on their own but I'll add the color version too.

Thank you! I saw these in color but after I got home I feel something is missing in the color version and try to save it by going b&w.

To me, 1 is definitely better in B&W.

To my eyes, all three are much better in black and white.
The color shots are "pretty," but the B&W versions bring out forms and tonalities better.

Thank you all! I liked the scene but with the flattish light didn’t translate well to color while b&w saves it at some extent even if I didn’t initially plan for it. It’s good to be able to reinterpret your own score from time to time.
