The back patting continues among the ten photographers who post 90% of the images on LuLa. "Aren't we great."
Do ten post 90%, or is that fake news?
I ask, having just watched france24.com run a feature on exactly that (fake news) in their debate that follows their 7pm news slot at about 7.10pm Monday thru Thursday, Friday's slot being occupied by their take on the week's news. I particularly enjoy Christopher Dickie if he's on the team.
Thrilling day today: the water heater sprang a leak on - or rather, I found it - on Saturday morning about an hour before a lady was coming to view my pad that's up for sale. I didn't know I was still capable of such rapid action, removing damp towels from what used to be the airing cupboard wherein lives the heater, all 100 litres of it. As soon as she and the agent left, I rang the plumbers not really expecting anyone to be working on Saturday morning. Anyway, they came out to see the tank, told me it would still be safe enough over Sunday, and that they'd have a replacement system by Monday which, unless I'm mistaken, should be today. Nobody came, but the place is now strewn with old sheets I used to use when painting the place. That's because they have to carry out the old tank in order to replace it, and things like that don't come without associated disasters. So, no hot water, the hope that the lady, should she want to have a second viewing, will wait a few more days because I have no guarantee these folks will be here tomorrow, either.
And then I find myself on a list. Silver linings? Oh, I forgot: film is history, so my little jolly fails.
Thank's Eric, but you are a brave man making lists!
