I couldn't get it to run on my 8GB laptop, but in Win 10 you can plug a USB memory stick in and use it to boost the main memory. So I got a 8GB stick and it  let me use 4 as an additional, taking my memory up to 12 GB. Then the software worked, slowly, and produced amazing upres pictures.The application to boost memory is called "Readyboost"
