Selvi:  You have a good eye for someone who's only been making photographs for a few years.  Thanks for sharing your work!

Very lovely work, Selvi. I like the way you mix scenes from India and the U.S. in your website. It sends the message that beauty doesn't have national boundaries.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work.  The colors, the composition, and the places you choose to photograph are all excellent.  You have a very good aesthetic sense.

Are you the same Karthik who I did garden photography with, one day last year or so at the Filoli Estate (SF Bay Area)?  I'm glad you found your way here to this forum.  It's the best one I know of.

Could be just my monitor, but the last two images look dark - blocked up shadows.

There is a bit of snow showing through the trees near the center of the second image that I would clone out.  I keep wanting to look at it to see what it might be, and then discover it is nothing.

Yosemite at Midnight looks very much like daylight, except the star trails.  For a night shot, I would have reduced the exposure to look more like midnight.

Nice website and beautiful photos. The navigation was quick and intuitive, and I really liked the loading progress in the thumbnails. I do however, think that the thumbnail crops could be improved to more accurately portray the full image. Sometimes it was merely a crop of featureless sky. I found myself having to guess at what it was I was clicking on.

The articles are a neat addition to a portfilio website. I would enjoy reading more in the future. I found the timing on the "extreme cold" article entertaining; the weather here hasn't been above freezing in a week. I've been out in -25C several times in the past days and battery performance has been a concern.

I'm having a hard time finding fault with your work. Nice eye for tonality and composition.

My compliments!

Where did the images go?

Also, reaching www.selviarts.com is currently impossible, it seems like a problem with the nameservers ns1.blucommerce.com and ns2.blucommerce.com.
