Winter, West Montrose, Ontario
« on: January 23, 2019, 01:05:47 pm »

A beautifully snowy morning at the historic covered bridge in West Montrose, Ontario
...just before the snow blower threw crap on the front left foreground and an hour before the rain began. Finally descent snow only to be ruined by a ‘Colorado low”.

Nice atmosphere. Dare I compliment the classical, rule of thirds composition too? ;)

+1.

We finally got our first six inches of snow, followed by rain, sleet, and freezing rain, and temperatures below zero (F), so not very photogenic. And tomorrow we are expecting heavy rain all day and temperatures close to 60 (F).

Freezing rain can be beautiful, it's just difficult to get around. Below zero can also be very pretty and sparkly. Or also kind of miserable. Good luck!

I like this fresh approach to the covered-bridge genre.
