Problems ( Pilot Error I'm Sure ) Loading Roll Paper - Canon Image Prograf 2000

I made the mistake of using Epson Hot Press Bright as the first ROLL I loaded on my Canon Image Prograf 2000
Because most of my images just seem to look better on Baryta papers, I keep making smaller prints on cut sheets
So the roll has been on the printer so long I forgot how to load roll paper on my new ( to me ) printer and basically trashed most of the roll of Hot Press Bright trying to remember how to load it correctly - long story, believe me it would have made a good comedy skit
Can anybody send me a great link to information showing the right way to load my next roll

Have you tried pages 49 to 92 of the manual and looked at the reviews done by Keith Cooper at Northlight Images and me on this website? (My review doesn't go into how to load rolls, because it's all in the manual, but Keith's may.) Some aspect of your issue not covered in those resources?

I find it hard to believe but what part more exactlt of thr porocess are you unable to get right: the losing of the paper of the paper on the Canon rod or getting it in the right position to be able to fit the roll sleeve in the small slot until you hear the beep?

The main trick I think it's bothering you is to have the paper sleeve hanging on the right side of the roll by the time you're trying to insert the roll rod in the printer.
The sleeve should be basically on your side, to be able to naturally drag it in the printer using the slot underneath the roll.

The last picture is taken from under the printer in order from you to understand that the paper sleeve has to go above the 4 black "forks"!

Just forgot to add. As you direct the paper sleeve as instructed before you do that by rotation the whole roll with your fingers until the printer gives a small beep as confirmation the paper reached the landing sensors for the loading action to start.
