A modified version of a photo I posted here a few years ago. The goal was to add more depth and 'drama' to the scene. This is a work in progress, so I would be happy to hear your thoughts, opinion and suggestions. One nit I'm aware of, but decided to leave is the slight tilt of the horizon (treeline) to the left. Regrettably, correcting it cropped more than I wanted.

Some will like it, some not. That's what art is about. I don't know your previous work but I like this one!
The slightly tilted horizon isn't a problem. It's not a straight treeline view (the left side is closer to the camera than the right side) so the tilting must be present. Keep the tilting, please.
Maybe the slight halo above tree tops shouldn't be there but it's not a big issue.

My thoughts exactly. I don't care about the slightly tilted horizon - I'm not even sure it really exists. But it seems to me to be dramatically overcooked. Tone down the enthusiastic processing and you'll have a lovely image.

You could do a perspective crop that would circumvent that problem.

I hadn't considered that, but please expand on your idea. My use of the perspective crop has been limited to situations where visible vertices were present on rectangular surfaces. How would you apply it here? Thanks for the tip.

I think it looks great with a straight b&w desaturation.
