My new old school
« on: December 22, 2018, 09:40:49 pm »

Not Mf and certainly not digital, but the most excited I've been about photography in a long time.  Still waiting on countertops, but my new darkroom is up and running!

The neg was Fuji Neopan 100 4x5 souped in Pyro.  Enlarged on a Durst L1200 with a new Heiland Splitgrade LED head.  Amazing that there have been technological innovations in darkroom gear while I've been away.

I'll be spending my winter downtime working old school.

Wow!  Congratulations.  I've not seen a better place to spend long winter nights.
Where's the Gra-Lab?   8)

You can see about half the GraLab poking out at the back of the Venthood shelf.  I got a beautiful NOS one from fleabay  ;)

Congrats!
It looks just like what I always imagined my darkroom wood eventually look like. No Durst, merely a Beseler 45MCRX, which is still gathering dust if anyone wants it.

Lovely setup there. What are you using for sink risers under your trays? I am looking for something similar, these seem ideal.
