Hardware Acceleration doesn't work...?

Windows 10 Pro x64
Intel i7 6800K @ 3.4Ghz
64Gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070
250Gb WD SSD for all software

I've just upgraded from 10 to 12.

HA worked in 10, but it isn't working in 12.

All drivers are up to date.

Any suggestions?

Seems to be working for me. I have similar hardware but I'm using Win7 x64. Have you tried to toggle it off and on in preferences? I've noticed there was a "Setting up hw acceleration" popup when I first started C12, maybe it failed for you. Is there anything in the event log?

I had that happening to me for a while with V11, but after updating the video drivers it reactivated the hardware acceleration and it still works on V12.

Maybe there is something in the specific combination of the current driver and your graphics card.
I'd send them a support request, so they can keep track of whether more people with the same hardware experience this.

Have you tried this? I had problems and after deleting the files and restarting everything worked great.

Thanks for the replies.

Even though my setup was already using a graphics driver long after the minimum recommended in Christopher's link above, I went to the Nvidia site and downloaded the most recent one - 417.16 released only a couple of weeks ago.

It's working now.
