It was a still day at the beach and somewhat overcast with only a boat sitting relatively still on the water.
The attached image (as it is) is not that remarkable, I don't think.
What I want to achieve is to make it look like there is a seemless transition between the water and the sky so that it leaves the viewer not sure where the horizon is nor where the boat really is. Or at least that's the image that I had in my mind when I pressed the shutter button. A bit like the single tone backdrops used with models.
My problem is I don't know how to get there.
Can anyone provide some tips or suggestions about tools/methods?
