Canon Pro 2000 firmware update Mac OS
« on: November 24, 2018, 09:05:44 pm »

Received a message on the printer this morning to say that version 2.09 was available to download. Process took 15 mins to complete without a hitch.

I have attached the change log (reformatted for clarity) for those interested.

Thanks for reporting your success. A few questions, please:

1) What OS are you running?
2) From way app do you print?
3) Has printing from LR been OK with the new firmware?
4) Do you use the take-up roll option? If so, do you note changes in use of the take-up roll?

Many thanks,

John..I'm using El Capitan 10.11.6 and print from Lightroom Classic. I have compared a test chart that was printed prior to one printed with FW 2.09 and there is no discernible change in the rendering/color.

In regard to the second roll, I have so far never used the take-up roll option.

Thanks, David. Updates in Take-Up Roll function were listed among the Firmware changes in the document you so kindly posted, and this was that basis of my question. As an aside, I'll mention that using the 2nd roll in Take-Up function has been really helpful to me. Its implementation could be better, so it'll be interesting to see what the firmware changes.

Thanks again.
