Color Navigator 7 & Specbos 1211
« on: November 17, 2018, 11:15:48 pm »

Hi.  I'm having a problem using my jeti 1211 with Color Navigator 7.  ColorNavigator 7 is unable to find and communicate with the 1211.  I'm having no problem with Jeti LiVal and  DisplayCal so I don't think its a problem with my ftdi drivers.  Nor am I having a problem connecting my i1pro and i1pro 2 to Color Navigator, so my color navigator seems to be installed correctly.

I've emailed Eizo tech support but thought I'd post on this forum to see if I'm missing something obvious

Thanks for responding.
OS is Windows 10.  Drivers are" D2XX Direct Drivers" from FTDI, version 2.12.28 (x64), downloaded from: https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm.
This is as directed from the Jeti support page: https://www.jeti.com/cms/index.php/software-updates/69-downloads/software-updates/172-software-tools

Is there another process that might be conflicting with Color Navigator?  I discovered that CN7 wouldnt recognize my i1 Pro 2 until I had stopped i1Profiler Tray via Activity Monitor (OSX equivalent of Task Manager), the agent for the software that ships with the i1Pro 2 device.

Interesting idea.  CN7 does work with all my other devices, and I don't have another task using the virtual com port used by the specbos.
