Autumn Sky - Mesa Verde, Colorado
« on: November 12, 2018, 04:42:59 am »

This was taken while hiking in the area.  I am interested in the emotional contrasts of the dead wood, fractured sky and the color.

I’m enjoying the reaching nature of the branches, but am distracted by the contrails. The photograph makes a great statement of how “the hand of man” is ruining great views (IMO). Aside: The funny thing is, I don’t feel the same way about wind turbines as I do contrails.)

Yes, the trees are great.  I have problems with prominent foregrounds that out of focus (and have many shots in which this occurs) but that may just be me.

Yeh, I might crop some of the foreground off.  Thanks for the feedback.
