Screen protectors on touch enabled screens ?? do they work ?

I've just got a Canon 5D iv that has a touch enabled rear screen. IF they work, I'd like to cover it with a screen protector film.
Any recommendations of brands that work OK ? or any experience of problems using them ?
TIA

I have had two different ones made by Sony for my Sony A7RIII and both worked with touch. The first was a glass one which never sealed well; the second is plastic and has worked like a charm ever since installed. I use the touch screen for placing focus points. I have no experience with Canon. Good luck.

I've one for my D850 and haven't had a problem with touch. I'd strongly recommend you get one though, as with no protector, my screen had scratched about two weeks into it.

Thanks Joe, very aware of the risks. What brand did you use ?
