Never forget
« on: November 01, 2018, 03:33:41 am »

Today, 1 November, Is a day to remember those who passed away.
We visit the dead and bring chrysanthemums to the graveyard. Pray or contemplate, a moment of silence.

Traditions are important.

.....

Not that long ago (100 years exactly) US, British and French troops pushed back German troops behind one of the main Rivers of Flanders (The Schelde) and continued to liberate Flanders.

We should not forget.
We should not forget how fragile peace is.

Isn’t November 1 “All Saints Day” and November 2 “All Souls Day”?

Yes it is. Because 1 november is a bank holiday, most peoples remember the dead on the 1st November instead of the 2th.
