Fall Colors, Merced River, Yosemite

Fall colors have been looking pretty good in Yosemite.  Here is a shot from two weekends ago just up the road from where I live.  After so many bright days in the mountains, it is nice to find shade.

Can understand shade can be desirable this year, so many sunny days here, too. Not to have to deal with harsh shadows! You used the soft light nicely for the textures and colors of river/ rocks and trees.
