Good shooting, Chris. Interesting angle.
Thanks.
When I'm just going to be walking around without any particular photographic objective, I'm not too particular about what equipment to carry as long as it isn't heavy—to paraphrase
the song from Finian's Rainbow, when I'm not near the camera I love, I love the camera I'm near—but lately I've taken to grabbing my Fuji X-T2 with the excellent 10-24mm f/4 Fujinon (APS-C sensor, so 15-36mm full-frame equivalent) as my standard tourist kit. And I find that having the wide lens encourages me to see pictures that wouldn't have occurred to me if I was carrying a longer one. When that odd array of traffic signals caught my eye, it occurred to me that if I edged out into the street just a bit, I only needed to wait for a gaggle of pedestrians to arrive to make the shot. (Note: no photographers were struck by passing cars during the making of this image, although there was a bit of horn-blowing by irritated drivers.)
