I'm on a Mac, The CC 2018 - desktop and laptop Photoshop CC.

The desktop is good, for the laptop, I copy over keyboard shortcuts via the finder, Library, Application Support, Keyboard shortcuts, and I put the copy in there. Reboot. And it does not work. Now it used to work. No problem with CC 2017. Any ideas? Tapped out. Thanks.

I found when I moved to CC2018 that my presets were no longer syncing between my desktop and laptop (I used a symbolic link in my Dropbox folder to the Lightroom settings folder). I discovered that they are now stored in a Camera Raw folder rather than in the Lightroom folder.

That is, not in ~/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom, but in ~/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw.

Just a thought.

Thanks Jeremy, did not understand that at all.

This is Mac/ Keyboard shortcuts issue...

but thanks confirming, maybe glitch now with 2018...

They never 'sync', Adobe, does not offer that, sadly. You have to tediously somehow get your 2nd device on board...

I seem to have misunderstood where your difficulty lies. I'd assumed that your keyboard shortcuts were set up in CC, since that's the application for which you had the problem. If you're talking of the general keyboard shortcuts set up in System Preferences / Keyboard, life isn't simple; a quick Google search reveals this but it looks a little involved if you're not happy with messing around with hidden files.

Syncing LR and PS preferences and settings between machines isn't difficult and works well once set up: I use Dropbox, but no doubt other services would do as well. I can tell you how to do it if it would help, but I now appreciate that it won't solve the issue you were asking about.

Yes, I mean keyboard prefs in CC!

Stuck, anyone one else?

thanks Zen, can you please delete all your post. This thread has nothing to do with assigning Keyboard shortcuts and nothing to do with LR.

Zen, read the original post. You aren't helping; you are answering a question which hasn't been asked. Stop it.
