A couple from the summer. So many photos, so few keepers.   :)

Very different atmosphere compared to the usual golden hour photos.

I like them, especially the 2nd.

Me too.
They are both nice, but #2 is my fave.

So many photos, so few keepers.   :)
My lament as well.  I tried taking fewer and more thoughtful photos but the ratio stayed the same.  :)
Nice shots both but I favour #2 as well.

These are two good fotos I think.
And Slobodan hit the nail right on the head.
But I must remind myself it's quality, not quantity.
How many paintings did Vermeer do? How many songs did Robert Johnson record ?

Thanks, folks. Either my pictures are getting worse or I'm getting pickier.

You are probably getting pickier, ie wanting better images which is good.  When travelling with Jane and/or others I do not usually have time for long considerations of composition so fire off several -one of the freedoms of digital.  I am photographing sculpture for a national database so go on my own, and spend much longer on an image.  Even so I take several of the same view, making minor changes to my standpoint and changing aperture.  I don't have a problem with having only a few keepers. Digital has made it easier for me to be pickier on cost grounds.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I like the first one when I blue my eyes. Probably a weird thing to say, but I'd love to see that with a 10 stop and some shutter drag or a heavy orton. Maybe it's just the lack of purist in me...
