Almost two days of driving on rough 4X4 roads to get to this remote place in an already remote country. Good camping with clean rivers for water but no other facilities at all. No toilets, no electricity, no shops, no accommodation. Lovely area

Welcome to Scotland  All joking aside this is a tremendous image with the low raking sunlight picking out the foreground grasses and the sunlit rocky hill on the right balancing the dark mass of the hill on the left with the dark sky holding it all in. Not quite Scotland that’s for sure. Although at about 2500m it gets bitterly cold in winter. This was the middle of summer, the wet season.
